Our overseas tour concludes with our wines starring at the 19th edition of A Tasting of Wines from Italy, the largest event dedicated to Italian wine held on Canadian territory organized byICE. The tour started on October 28th in Vancouver and then continued in Calgary on October 30th, Toronto on November 3rd and ending in Montreal on November 5th.
Over the years, the initiative has become a highly anticipated commercial moment for Canadian operators and today represents thereference event dedicated to Italian wine in Canada. As usual, the events are organized in the form of tasting tables. This year they were involved as a whole 91 Italian companies coming from 15 different regions who presented their wines (five types per producer) to the over 3,500 operators agreed: wine agents, monopoly representatives, Ho.Re.Ca., specialized journalists, opinion leaders, wine lovers.

Over the past few years, Canada has consolidated the strategic market role for the export of Italian wine doubling the value of deliveries in just ten years and confirming itself as the 5th outlet market. It should be highlighted that the average price of wine exported to the Canadian market is confirmed as one of the most profitable, testifying to thehigh attention of the Canadian consumer towards high-end wines.
