From carefully selected Nero d'Avola grapes in the hilly countryside of Gibellina, an organic red is born that tells the story of the territory and the biodiversity of the island. The Organic Nero d'Avola by Tenute Orestiadi is characterized by a broad aromatic range, with fruity notes ranging from licorice to wild berries. On the palate it is elegant and highly concentrated, the tannins are soft and persistent. On the finish it gives a pleasant sensation of sapidity.

It goes well with spaghetti with tomato sauce and ricotta salata and Sicilian baked anelletti. Perfect in combination with red meat and game main courses (pork sausage with sauce). It also goes well with stewed fish and fresh stretched curd cheeses.

This type of soil is found on the gentle hills of the Trapani hinterland, rich in silty-clayey substances, compact and resistant to drought. Thanks to its characteristics, it is configured as an ideal habitat for the breeding of numerous varieties of both red and white berried vines and becomes for us the perfect soil for the cultivation of Syrah and Nero d'Avola, used not only in purity , also in a blend for the Orestiadi Ludovico, a wine dedicated to Ludovico Corrao and the flagship of the cellar.
