A roadshow that touches 6 Italian regions, from north to south, becomes a further communication opportunity for producers who have obtained international recognition and an interesting tasting opportunity for operators and wine lovers.
The CMB – Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, the historic competition that annually rewards the quality of wines from all over the world, takes its champions around Italy: some of the best wines awarded with medals by its jury of 320 professionals will be on tour around the country starting November 29thfor a couple of months.
The tour will touch the following cities: Livorno (29 November), Palermo (9 January), Treviso (17 January), Ortona (22 January), Bari (28 January) and Turin (30 January) and is organized in collaboration with the CIA – Italian Farmers' Confederation, the FISAR – Italian Federation of Sommeliers, Hoteliers, Restaurateurs And University of Udine and with the support of other regional sector organisations. The first stage will coincide with the MarediVino event where the important tasting will take place.
Created in 1994, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles has established itself, in some way, as the world championship of the wine and spirits sector, with more than 8000 wines and spirits put into competition, coming from all over the world. The Concours jury meets approximately every year 40 nationalities and is made up exclusively of professionals in the sector. After celebrating its twentieth anniversary in Brussels, the twenty-first edition will be hosted by Italy and will be based in Jesolo, Veneto.
In addition to Italian wines, there will be an important selection of international labels for tasting.
Tenute Orestiadi is among the 5 Sicilian companies awarded in the tasting.
